Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park – The Doctor’s Association of MMC Tree Plantation Event

What a fantastic and inspiring initiative! The tree plantation event Sponsored by the Doctor's Association of Madras Medical College (MMC 84 –Sesquis 40 Batch) at NBNP on August 31, 2024, truly represents a powerful commitment to the environment. With 400 trees, including various NBR (Native, Rare, and Biodiverse) plants, being planted. This event will significantly contribute to the park's biodiversity and support the mission of fostering a healthier ecosystem.

By planting these trees, we are not only enhancing the park's rich diversity of flora but also promoting the conservation of rare and native species. This effort helps create a thriving habitat for wildlife and reinforces our shared responsibility to nurture and protect the environment.

Each tree represents more than just growth-it symbolizes our collective commitment to a sustainable and eco- friendly future. The effort made today will contribute significantly to improving air quality, creating habitats for wildlife, and promoting a healthier ecosystem for generations to come.

This partnership between the Doctor's Association and NBNP is a testament to the power of collaboration in driving positive environmental change. Together, we are taking a meaningful step toward restoring the balance of nature and leaving a legacy of greenery and hope. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the MMC’84 Batch for involving this impactful endeavour!
