Nurturing NBR Trees for Long-term Afforestation and Conservation at NBNP

The Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park (NBNP) is actively working towards sustainable afforestation by focusing on nurturing Native, Rare and Biodiverse (NBR) tree species. This initiative not only enhances the green cover but also emphasizes the conservation of endangered and rare plant species, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity. Through these efforts, NBNP is not only expanding its green cover but also creating a model for afforestation that balances ecological preservation with community engagement.
